I just wanted to link these articles in one place because together they summarize and encapsulate the gist of my thought on monetary, tax, and welfare policy. Moreover, these articles explain and defend the rationale behind my support for Andrew Yang. #Yang2020 Although I do not think Yang is a perfect candidate, I do think he is the best candidate in generations. To be clear, not everything I advocate herein corresponds to something in Yangā€™s platform.

The first article deals with monetary theory, explaining what money is and how our monetary system works. It also delves somewhat into the question of taxation. The second article focuses on what kinds of things the government ought to spend on. The third focuses in-depth on what kind of taxes the government ought to impose. The final one focuses on tariffs.
